The first FuturFestival took place in 2010 to celebrate New Year's Eve and Turin's victory as European Youth Capital. FuturFestival gathered more than 7.000 young people from all over Italy, thus resulting the "most beloved New Year's Eve party" in Italy.
On December 31st 2009, FuturFestival participated to the realization of Turin's New Year's Eve party in Piazza Vittorio, presenting Groove Armada as the headliner for the event together with Juliette Lewis and other internationally recognized artists.
On December 7th, 2010, FuturFestival presented The Bloody Beetroots’ exclusive Italian show, with special appearance by Tommy Lee at the drums.
On June 30th, 2012, FuturFestival opened its doors as the first Italian 100% daytime summer festival, under the name of Kappa FuturFestival, taking its name from the well-known sports brand.
During summer 2013, KFF enters the European Summer Festival top 5.
In 2015 the Cashless technology is introduced for the first time in an Italian Festival to purchase all goods and services with a card that can be topped up by cash or credit card.
KFF16 is granted the European Commission patronage together with Movement Festival, a first time for this kind of events in Italy.
The Fifth Edition confirms itself as the most beloved day-time Italian summer festival registering 40.000 entries over the two days.
