Batu is a Bristol-based DJ, producer and founder of the Timedance label, widely recognized for his distinctive take on modern techno and experimental club music. His sound blends bold sound design with forward-thinking production, moving fluidly between underground dancefloors and wider artistic contexts.

With his debut album Opal and collaborations including FKA Twigs, Batu has developed a unique sonic identity spanning club, pop and audiovisual art. A regular on international stages such as Glastonbury, Sónar and Dekmantel, he continues to push electronic music culture forward through both music and visual experimentation.
