MAD DOG B2B CARV

DJ Mad Dog (born Filippo Calcagni in Rome, Italy, on November 2, 1980) is a leading Italian gabber/hardcore DJ and producer, known for his powerful sound, tracks like "Welcome Down," and his influence on the scene through his own label, Dogfight Records.

He started in the 90s, was part of Traxtorm Records, and is celebrated globally for his energetic performances and production work with major hardcore artists.

CARV’s golden mask is more than a costume; it’s a statement of art over artist. By removing personal identity, he channels full attention onto his music and the emotional experience it creates. His creative ethos is rooted in freedom, self-expression, and the belief that music should stand on its own merit.

His sound is a relentless blend of hard techno, hardcore, gabber, hard dance, and rave elements. It’s both aggressive and melodic, an artist who embodies electronic music’s darker aesthetic with precision.
Breakthrough tracks like “Say My Name” (2023) marked his rise in the scene, followed by powerful releases such as “Ruler Vibes,” “Make You Move,” and the Sweat and Blood EP—each defining his signature intensity. CARV’s performances are more than just DJ sets. They’re full-fledged experiences, rich with audiovisual intensity and a palpable energy that connects deeply with fans. Rooted in spontaneity, he builds most of his sets from his own productions, allowing real-time crowd feedback to dictate the show’s flow.
CARV stands at the forefront of hard techno’s renaissance, redefining the genre through bold anonymity, artistic experimentation, and immersive performance. He’s not just a musician—he’s a phenomenon, with Masked Rules serving as a beacon for innovation and integrity in electronic music.
